Himachal Horticulture Department Advises Apple Orchardists
After a lot of snow in Shimla and other high areas, the people in charge of plants and fruits in Himachal Pradesh gave some important advice to apple farmers.
They said that farmers should take care of their apple trees in a scientific way.
This means making a special area around the tree to keep it healthy and strong.
They also said to put some special food for the trees, like manure or compost, and to follow the results of soil tests to add more nutrients.
All this is to make sure the apple trees grow well and give good fruit next time.
The director of the department, Vinay Singh, said that the recent snow and rain have made the soil nice and wet, which is good for the trees.
