French Actress Marina Vlady Dies at 88 After Storied Career

Marina Vlady was a famous French actress who died at age 88.

Her family said she died at home on Thursday.

She acted in more than 80 movies during her long career.

In 1963, she won a Best Actress award at the Cannes Film Festival.

She also received a Golden Globe for the same film, The Conjugal Bed.

Vlady worked with important filmmakers such as Jean-Luc Godard and Orson Welles.

She began acting when she was a child and made her first film at age 10.

She also sang in two albums with her sisters and supported women’s rights and social causes.
