SC Cancels Sonam Raghuvanshi's Bail in Husband's Murder Case

SC Cancels Sonam Raghuvanshi's Bail in Husband's Murder Case

The Supreme Court has cancelled the bail of Sonam Raghuvanshi, who is accused of killing her husband Raja Raghuvanshi during their honeymoon in Meghalaya.

The court allowed a plea by the Meghalaya government challenging the bail and gave Sonam three weeks to surrender.

If the trial is not completed within six months, Sonam can file a fresh bail application.

The police allege that Sonam conspired to kill her husband for financial gain.

The couple went missing in May 2025, and Raja's body was found in a deep gorge in June 2025.
