Yogi Adityanath Inaugurates UP T20 League Special Season in Lucknow
The Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, a big state in India, opened a new season of a cricket competition called the UP T20 League.
It happened at a large stadium called Ekana Cricket Stadium in the city of Lucknow.
Six cricket teams from different cities take part in the competition.
The very first game was between the Kashi Rudras team and the team from Meerut.
The Chief Minister said that in a state with 25 crore people, lots of young players need chances to show their talent.
He said the competition gives players from small towns a bigger stage and helps them become better.
He also spoke about the 'Fit India' idea of the Prime Minister, saying sports keep young people healthy and teach them teamwork.
The tournament was opened just before India celebrates its 80th Independence Day, which makes it extra special.
He invited everyone who loves cricket to come and enjoy the games.

Kashi Rudras and the Meerut team faced each other in the inaugural match.
Adityanath said the league gives cricketing talent in the state, with a population of 25 crore, a platform to showcase their skills and strengthen Uttar Pradesh's cricketing base.
The Chief Minister linked the event to Prime Minister Narendra Modi's 'Fit India' vision and noted it is being held on the eve of the 80th Independence Day.
