BCCI Faces Pressure Over Kohli-Rohit-Gambhir Rift

BCCI Faces Pressure Over Kohli-Rohit-Gambhir Rift

There's a big problem in the Indian cricket team.

The coach, Gautam Gambhir, is not getting along with two of the team's star players, Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma.

This is making the atmosphere in the team's changing room very bad, especially during one-day international (ODI) matches.

The people in charge of Indian cricket, called the BCCI, are worried about this and might have a meeting after the upcoming series against South Africa to talk about it.

They want to make sure everyone gets along and figure out what to do with Kohli and Rohit, who only play ODIs now.

Some fans are also being mean to Gambhir on social media, which isn't helping.

Everyone hopes the team can sort out these problems soon so they can play well together.

The team has also been doing poorly in Test matches, losing five of their last seven home games, but no meeting has been scheduled to discuss that yet.

Former cricketers like MSK Prasad and Deep Dasgupta have advised the BCCI to make a clear plan for the 2027 ODI World Cup and to let Kohli and Rohit guide the younger players.
