BJP Leaders Criticize West Bengal Government's North Bengal Development Efforts
BJP leaders from north Bengal are upset because they think the state government isn't doing enough to develop their region.
They say there's not enough money for projects and hospitals don't have enough doctors.
They might protest if things don't change.
BJP leaders Sukanta Majumdar and Shankar Ghosh criticized the Mamata Banerjee-led West Bengal government's development efforts in north Bengal.
Majumdar, a Union Minister, alleged inadequate state and central funds allocation for the region.
He also criticized the lack of healthcare facilities in north Bengal's medical colleges.
Ghosh accused the Trinamool-run Siliguri Municipal Corporation of hindering his MLA fund projects.
Both leaders threatened protests if their concerns were not addressed.
