AP Allots Land to LuLu Group for Malls in Two Cities
The Andhra Pradesh government is giving land to the LuLu Group to build shopping malls.
In Visakhapatnam, they're getting about 13.7 acres for a big mall and it will be a long term lease.
In Vijayawada, they've been given initial approval for about 4 acres, again to build a shopping mall.
The land leases will have a period where they don't have to pay rent, giving them time to build.
The government is using its tourism land rules to decide the land prices.
The transport and revenue departments are helping with the move.

13.74 acres of land in Visakhapatnam allotted on a 99-year lease for a mega mall.
4.15 acres in Vijayawada receive in-principle approval for a 65-year lease, extendable by 33 years.
