KPSC Chairman's Daughter Granted Anticipatory Bail
A court in Bengaluru has given anticipatory bail to the daughter of a suspended chairman of the Karnataka Public Service Commission (KPSC).
She was accused of using a fake income certificate to get a government job.
The court said she could be free on bail if she puts up a bond of Rs 1,00,000 and appears for questioning when needed.
Her lawyers said she withdrew her job application before any official complaint was filed and that all necessary documents are already with the KPSC, so she doesn't need to be held in custody.
The court agreed and granted her bail.
