Realty Firms’ June-Quarter Sales Bookings Fall, Godrej Leads
Real-estate companies sell homes and other properties.
In the April-June quarter of FY27, 28 major listed developers booked ₹39,964 crore in sales.
That was 21% lower than the ₹50,900 crore booked a year earlier.
Godrej Properties had the highest bookings at ₹8,651 crore.
Prestige Estates Projects and DLF saw notable declines, and DLF launched no project during the quarter.
Some companies, including Sobha, Max Estates and Mahindra Lifespace, reported strong growth.
Overall, 19 companies grew while nine declined.
Consultants said fewer launches, cautious buyers and global uncertainty hurt sales, but they expect improvement in the next quarter.
