FMGE June 2026 Protest Continues as NBEMS Rejects Result Changes
Some FMGE candidates have been protesting for seven days.
They are unhappy because the exam included questions using videos.
The candidates say they were not properly told about this format.
The Centre says the format was shown in an official practice demo before the exam.
The demo was meant to help candidates understand how the test would look and work.
The Centre therefore says the video questions had been announced in advance.
An NBEMS panel has decided not to change the results.
It has also decided not to give candidates extra compensatory marks.
The protest over the FMGE June 2026 examination has entered its seventh day.
Candidates allege they were not informed about video-based questions before the examination.
The Centre told the Lok Sabha on August 7 that video-based questions were included in the official demo test.
It said the demo test was provided to familiarise candidates with the examination interface and pattern.
An NBEMS panel has ruled out changing the results or awarding compensatory marks.
