Sigachi Develops New Cystic Fibrosis APIs

Sigachi Develops New Cystic Fibrosis APIs

Sigachi Industries, a pharmaceutical company, has created a new mix of medicines called APIs for treating Cystic Fibrosis.

This mix includes three special ingredients: Vanzacaftor, Tezacaftor, and Deutivacaftor.

The company thinks this new mix could make them around ₹250 crore every year starting from the fourth quarter of 2026-27.

This is a big deal because the global market for Cystic Fibrosis treatments is expected to grow a lot.

The company's stock price went up a bit after this news, but some experts think it might still have a hard time.

The company is also working on other important medicines and plans to keep growing.
