Russian Drones Hit Kryvyi Rih, Cause Power Cuts

On January 14, 2024, Russian drones attacked a city in Ukraine called Kryvyi Rih, causing power outages for more than 45,000 people and disrupting heat supplies.

The city is important because it has steel and mining industries and is the hometown of Ukraine's president.

At the same time, Ukrainian drones attacked the Russian city of Rostov-on-Don, killing one person, injuring four others, and starting fires at an industrial facility.

Rostov-on-Don is a key military and logistics hub for Russia.

Both countries are targeting each other's infrastructure to weaken their opponent's capabilities during the war.
