Madhavan Recalls Neighbours Who Wrote Him Off as Never Successful
R Madhavan is a famous actor and filmmaker.
When he was a little boy, some of his neighbors thought he would never be successful.
They thought this because his mom and dad both had jobs.
The neighbors believed that working parents do not have enough time to look after their children.
This made Madhavan's parents feel guilty and sad.
But Madhavan did not have any famous friends or family to help him in the movie business.
His father worked at a private company and his mother worked at a bank.
Madhavan worked very hard and became very popular.
He grew up to be a big movie star and is now known as one of the country's finest actors.
His story shows that talent and hard work can help you succeed.
In a recent interview, actor-filmmaker R Madhavan recalled that neighbours had written him and his sister off as children, predicting they would never succeed.
The neighbours' doubts were based on the fact that both of Madhavan's parents were employed and supposedly had little time to care for the children.
The assumptions made his parents, Ranganathan and Saroja, feel guilty, according to Madhavan.
Madhavan had no connections to the film industry; his father worked at a private firm and his mother at a bank.
Despite being written off, Madhavan became a national heartthrob and later one of the country's finest character actors, proving talent and hard work pay off.
