Three New Books Give City Bibliophiles Reasons to Celebrate

Three New Books Give City Bibliophiles Reasons to Celebrate

Three new books were presented at a literary event on August 21.

The event was organized by the Rising Asia Foundation and The Saturday Club.

One book explains how businesses can build brands by understanding customers.

Another tells a creative story about Nawab Wajid Ali Shah traveling from Lucknow to Calcutta.

It uses poems, history and magical storytelling.

Fish and other sea creatures help tell that story.

The third book translates Rabindranath Tagore’s story Dakghar into English.

Its translator said the story explores ideas about life beyond the ordinary world.

Writers and other speakers discussed all three books with the audience.
