IIT-Madras Initiative Launches to Curb Road Accidents Nationwide
IIT-Madras is starting a new program to make roads safer.
The program will focus on areas with many accidents in 100 districts.
This project will use information to understand why accidents happen in each area.
The goal is to make roads safer by improving things like road design, traffic enforcement, and educating people about safety.
This is based on the 5E model.
The project aims to decrease the number of accidents and make sure that people are safe when they travel.
