Tejashwi Yadav urges Bihar CM to release teachers' pending salaries

Some teachers in Bihar teach special subjects like Urdu, Sanskrit, Arabic and Persian.

These teachers help students learn languages that are part of India's history and culture.

A leader named Tejashwi Yadav heard that many of these teachers had not been paid for a long time.

He said some teachers had not received their salary money for about five or six months.

Without their salaries, the teachers and their families struggle to pay for food, school and doctors.

Mr. Yadav also heard that some schools were moving teachers away unfairly.

In some schools, the only teacher for a subject like Urdu was being moved to another school.

That would mean students might not have anyone to teach that subject anymore.

Mr. Yadav wrote a letter to the Chief Minister of Bihar asking him to fix these problems.

He wants the government to pay the teachers quickly and treat every language fairly.
