Delhi HC Dismisses Plea Against Class VI Admission Test

Delhi HC Dismisses Plea Against Class VI Admission Test

The Delhi High Court recently dismissed a petition that challenged the admission test for Class VI in CM SHRI Schools.

The court based its decision on an earlier ruling from 2012, which allowed selection-based admissions for Class VI in certain schools.

The court clarified that the rule against screening tests, which applies to entry-level classes like Nursery or Class I, does not apply to Class VI.

This means that schools like CM SHRI Schools and Rajkiya Pratibha Vikas Vidyalayas can continue to use admission tests for Class VI.

The court's decision helps maintain the current admission process for these schools.
