MiCoB Delivers Over 500 3D-Printed Bunkers to Indian Army
Imagine building a strong house very quickly using a giant 3D printer that uses concrete instead of plastic.
A company called MiCoB built over 500 of these special 3D printed bunkers for the Indian Army.
These bunkers are tough and can protect soldiers from explosions and bullets.
They can be built much faster than normal bunkers, sometimes in less than a week!
MiCoB's technology helps protect soldiers in difficult places like hot deserts and cold, snowy mountains.
This is a new way to build important structures quickly and safely, showing India is good at creating new technology.
MiCoB has supplied over 500 impact and blast-resistant 3D printed bunkers to the Indian Army.
These bunkers are designed for extreme environments, including high-altitude terrains and deserts.
The 3D printing technology reduces construction time from 45 days to under 7 days per bunker.
MiCoB's bunkers have undergone successful testing, including against the T90 tank in 2022.
This delivery supports India's defense infrastructure, 'Make-in-India', and 'Aatmanirbhar Bharat' initiatives.
