UP Police Wins SKOCH Gold 2025
The Uttar Pradesh Police won a big award called the SKOCH Gold Award 2025.
They got this award for two things: a special control center for a big event called Mahakumbh and a system that helps people who might hurt themselves.
The control center uses smart technology to manage crowds and keep people safe.
The other system works with a company called Meta to find people who post sad messages online and helps them get the support they need.
The police saved 1,805 people using this system.
The awards were given at a big meeting in New Delhi.
The police said these projects were made possible with the help of their leaders.
UP Police won the SKOCH Gold Award 2025 for Mahakumbh ICCC and Meta Suicidal Alert System.
Awards were presented at the 105th SKOCH Summit in New Delhi with the theme 'Governing Viksit Bharat.'
Mahakumbh ICCC uses AI for crowd management, security, and disaster preparedness.
Meta Suicidal Alert System collaborates with Meta to rescue individuals at risk.
1,805 individuals were rescued through 1,802 alerts from January 1, 2023, to December 31, 2025.
