Hyundai Unveils 7‑Seat Electric MPV Prototype at GIIAS 2026
Hyundai Motor Group showed a new electric car called the Neira at a big car show in Indonesia in 2026.
The Neira can seat seven people and is made for families.
It looks a lot like another Hyundai car that already sells in India, the Kia Carens Clavis EV.
Hyundai said the Neira is just a prototype, so it isn’t sold yet.
They didn’t say if it will be sold in India soon, but the show gave people a sneak peek of what Hyundai’s next electric family car might be.
Hyundai unveiled the Neira, a 7‑seat electric MPV prototype, at the 2026 GIIAS in Indonesia.
The Neira is designed mainly for Southeast Asian markets and shares its electric architecture with the Kia Carens Clavis EV.
It represents Hyundai Motor Group’s next family‑oriented electric vehicle concept.
The prototype has not yet been announced for sale in India, though the design hints at future Indian offerings.
The reveal gives an early look at Hyundai’s expanding electric people‑mover lineup.
