Dhurandhar 2 to Release in Five Languages
Dhurandhar 2 is the sequel to the popular film Dhurandhar.
It will be released in five different languages: Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam.
This is a big change from the first film, which was only in Hindi.
The movie will come out on March 19, 2026, which is Eid.
Many people are excited about this because the first movie was a huge success, even in places where Hindi is not the main language.
The movie is about an undercover agent in Karachi and has a lot of action.
Ranveer Singh is playing the main character, and Akshaye Khanna is the bad guy.
The makers of the movie think that releasing it in many languages will help more people enjoy it.
The first movie made a lot of money, and the sequel is expected to do even better.
Dhurandhar 2 will release in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam on March 19, 2026, coinciding with Eid.
The decision to release in multiple languages is a strategic shift to cater to a wider audience, especially in response to demand from southern India.
The film is currently in post-production and aims to build on the scale and ambition of the original.
Ranveer Singh returns as the lead, with Akshaye Khanna reprising his role as the antagonist.
The first Dhurandhar film grossed ₹590 crore domestically and ₹186.9 crore overseas, making it one of the highest-grossing Indian films of 2025.
