UPI Now Accepts Online Bookings at Burj Khalifa
Indian travelers can now use the UPI payment app to book tickets for the top floors of the Burj Khalifa from India.
The booking happens on the official website before they even travel to Dubai.
Prices start at about 3,900 rupees and go up to 20,000 rupees.
This is the first time a tourist spot in the UAE lets people pay online with UPI.
The move makes travel planning easier for Indians and helps the payment system reach more countries.
UPI now accepted for online bookings at 'At the Top, Burj Khalifa' via NPCI International Payments Ltd in partnership with NEOPAY and Emaar Entertainment.
Indian travelers can book and pay for Burj Khalifa experiences from India before traveling to the UAE.
Ticket prices range from 149 AED (≈Rs 3,883) for Silver to 769 AED (≈Rs 20,045) for Platinum.
This marks the first UAE tourist attraction to accept UPI for e‑commerce transactions, expanding UPI beyond in‑store payments.
The move aims to simplify travel planning for Indian visitors and strengthen digital payment ties between India and the UAE.
