Indian Visitor Nights in Germany Remain Stable Through June 2026

Germany welcomed many visitors from other countries in the first half of 2026.

The number of nights spent by Indian visitors rose slightly, by 0.1%.

Overall, Germany recorded 36.4 million international overnight stays.

This was 0.5% more than during the same period a year earlier.

Indian visitors are described as relatively young, with an average age of 38.

About 95% are younger than 55.

Germany’s tourism office expects demand from India to continue in the second half of the year.

It says Indian travellers value safe transport, culture, good hotels and experiences that offer good value.
