Suvendu Adhikari Accuses Congress of Double Standards Over SIR

Suvendu Adhikari accused the Congress of changing its opinion about checking voter lists.

He said Congress supports the process when it helps the party and criticizes it when it does not.

He pointed to Kerala, where Congress leaders reportedly praised the process.

Congress and its allies have allegedly called the process flawed in other places.

Adhikari said political parties should trust election institutions consistently.

His comments came before opposition parties planned to meet in Delhi.

The meeting was about Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar.

Kunal Ghosh responded that Adhikari was worried about opposition parties joining together against the Bharatiya Janata Party.
