Dhurandhar on Netflix: Why is it shorter?
The movie Dhurandhar, starring Ranveer Singh, is available on Netflix but is shorter than its theatre version.
Some people think it was censored, with parts muted and about 10 minutes cut.
The makers say they followed Netflix's rules.
The OTT version is 3 hours and 25 minutes, while the original was 3 hours and 34 minutes.
Some reports say the OTT version is a revised one that was also shown in theatres from January 1, 2026.
The changes were made because of directives from the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting of India.
Despite the cuts, Dhurandhar is the most-watched Bollywood film in the post-pandemic era.
Dhurandhar on Netflix is 9 minutes shorter than its theatrical version.
Viewers allege censorship with muted dialogues and foul language.
Makers claim the OTT version complies with Netflix's mandates.
The OTT version is a revised one that was also shown in theatres from January 1, 2026.
Dhurandhar is the most-watched Bollywood film in the post-pandemic era with 3.65+ crore admissions.
