Tannaz Irani: From Mrs India to NLP Coach After Health Crisis
Tannaz Irani is a famous Indian actress who first got married when she was 20 to a theatre actor named Farid Currim.
They had a daughter but later divorced.
She then married a man she met on a reality show and they have two more children.
In the early 2020s, Tannaz hurt her hip and had to use a wheelchair for a while, which almost ended her acting career.
While recovering, she learned a special way of thinking called neuro‑linguistic programming, which helped her feel better.
After training as an NLP coach, she started acting again and wrote a book to help others.
She says her husband and friends helped her get back on track.
Tannaz Irani married Farid Currim at 20, divorced after eight years, and later married Bhaktiyar Irani, with whom she has two children.
In the early 2020s, a hip injury and medical treatments left her wheelchair‑bound and nearly ended her 25‑year acting career.
During her recovery she discovered neuro‑linguistic programming (NLP), trained as a coach, and returned to acting.
She credits her husband’s support and her own mental‑health work for regaining confidence and continuing her career.
Tannaz has authored a motivational book, "If I Can, You Can Too," and remains active in both acting and coaching.
