TCA Challenges HCA Claims Over AGM and District Cricket
The Telangana Cricket Association criticized the Hyderabad Cricket Association.
It wants proof that HCA Secretary M Jeevan Reddy attended a major cricket meeting.
It also wants to know whether he was allowed to vote there.
TCA said HCA has not done enough to support cricket players from different districts.
It pointed to Nippun Reddy, who took 33 wickets in Under-19 competitions.
TCA questioned why players like him were allegedly not selected.
It also asked for a report about the TG20 tournament’s organization and finances.
HCA has announced talent searches and infrastructure plans, but TCA wants clearer and fairer processes.
TCA sought documentary proof of HCA Secretary M Jeevan Reddy’s attendance at the 95th BCCI AGM in Mumbai on September 18.
The association asked under which rules Jeevan Reddy attended and whether he voted.
TCA disputed HCA’s claims about developing cricket across Telangana and providing opportunities for district players.
It cited district performers, including Nippun Reddy’s 33 Under-19 wickets, as players allegedly overlooked.
TCA demanded a comprehensive compliance report on the TG20 tournament and called for transparent governance and merit-based selection.
