TTP Attacks Kill 3 Cops, Injure 8 in Pakistan
In Pakistan, a group called the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) attacked police officers in three different places.
Three police officers were killed, and eight others were hurt.
The attacks happened in the areas of Lakki Marwat, Tank, and Swat.
The TTP is planning more attacks and wants to test how quickly the police can respond.
They are also trying to make the police feel less strong before they start attacking bigger military targets next year.
The group is very active in the southern part of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and the Malakand belt.
Three police personnel were killed and eight others injured in separate TTP attacks in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The attacks occurred in Lakki Marwat, Tank, and Swat districts.
Identified victims include Police Constable Sajjad Hussain, Assistant Sub-Inspector Mumtaz Ali, and Police Constable Hammad.
TTP is planning more major attacks and exploiting local recruitment networks and gaps in police infrastructure.
The attacks are part of a phased escalation plan to weaken police morale before targeting military forces in 2026.
