HAL LUH Helicopters: Certification Soon, Delivery by March 2026
The Indian Air Force (IAF) and Army are getting new HAL Light Utility Helicopters (LUH).
These helicopters are designed to be agile and will replace older models.
The project faced two problems: the flight control system and landing gear, but they are almost fixed now.
If the LUH gets approved in December, they could be ready by March 2026.
The Coast Guard is also considering getting six similar ALH Dhruv helicopters to help with things like rescue missions.
