TCS and DGCX Partner to Modernize Derivatives Market Infrastructure
Tata Consultancy Services, or TCS, is helping the Dubai Gold & Commodities Exchange upgrade its technology.
The technology will connect trading, clearing, and market monitoring in one modern system.
Clearing helps make sure trades are completed properly.
Monitoring helps identify unusual or risky trading activity.
The system will support products linked to energy, currencies, stocks, gold, and other precious metals.
It will also give DGCX a foundation for possible future products involving crypto and tokenized assets.
DGCX said the upgrade follows strong trading volumes in 2025 and the launch of a Gold Spot T+0 Contract.
The partnership is intended to help the exchange grow while giving members stronger tools to manage risk.
Tata Consultancy Services and the Dubai Gold & Commodities Exchange agreed to modernize DGCX’s trading, clearing, and surveillance infrastructure.
The new platform will support derivatives involving energy commodities, currencies, equities, bullion, and precious metals.
It is designed to help DGCX introduce products more efficiently and expand into crypto and tokenized assets.
TCS will integrate TCS BaNCS for Market Infrastructure, Quartz for Surveillance, TCS BaNCS Securities Trading, and TCS’ Quartz Gateway.
DGCX Chairman and CEO Ahmed Bin Sulayem said the partnership will support the exchange’s next stage of growth and risk-management needs.
