Netanyahu and Trump to Discuss Gaza Peace Plan
President Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu are going to talk about a plan to bring peace to Gaza.
They want to stop the fighting and make sure Hamas doesn't control Gaza anymore.
They already have a truce, but there's still some violence.
They're going to meet on December 29 to talk about the next steps in the plan.
The first part of the plan has already stopped most of the fighting and released most of the hostages.
The next part is about making sure Hamas doesn't have weapons and setting up a new authority in Gaza.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will meet President Donald Trump in the United States on December 29.
The meeting will discuss the second phase of the US-sponsored ceasefire plan for Gaza.
The first phase of the truce, in effect since October 10, has halted the war and released 47 out of 48 hostages.
The second phase involves disarming Hamas, withdrawing Israeli forces, and deploying an international stabilisation force.
The meeting comes amid tensions between Israel and the US over the potential annexation of the Israeli-occupied West Bank.
