Tirupati Prepares for Krishnashtami Celebrations and Devotee Rush

Tirupati is preparing to celebrate Krishnashtami, which marks Lord Krishna’s birth anniversary.

Many people are expected to visit the ISKCON temple to pray.

The temple has been decorated with flowers, fruits and lights.

Temple workers have planned special arrangements so people can see the deity safely.

Police will help control crowds, traffic and vehicle parking.

Visitors must park only in the approved areas.

They may need to walk to the temple from nearby traffic-control points.

Schools are also celebrating by having children dress up as Krishna and gopikas.
