GMLR Twin Tunnel Project Gets Final Approval for Forest Land Use
Imagine they're building a new shortcut tunnel to make it faster to get from one side of the city to the other.
They need to use some land in a protected forest, so they got permission from the government.
This tunnel is part of a bigger project to reduce traffic.
The government has approved the plan which involves building tunnels under a forest.
The project will also include planting trees somewhere else to make up for the land they are using.
They expect it will be finished in a few years and make it much quicker to travel between the two suburbs.
