Filmora 16 for Mac: Features, Limits, and Who It Suits
Filmora 16 is a video-editing program for Mac.
It can help creators cut videos, add captions, and adjust colors.
It can also track a person who moves in the frame and record several sources together.
Some tools use AI to organize footage or suggest subtitle fixes.
People can turn 360-degree footage into regular flat video, but only on newer Macs with Apple M-series chips.
The finished 360-degree project is not exported as interactive 360-degree video.
Filmora works best for everyday creator projects, according to the review.
Advanced color work and editing together as a team may be harder.
A Mac needs at least 8 GB of memory, and HD or 4K editing needs 16 GB.
Filmora 16 adds camera tracking, Color Mask, caption tools, and project organization features for Mac creators.
AI Media Analysis, Smart Text Correction, Multi-Source Recording, and 360° reframing add workflow options.
360° editing requires macOS 11 or later and an Apple M1 chip or newer; Intel Macs cannot use those tools.
Filmora requires at least 8 GB of memory, with 16 GB required for HD or 4K editing.
The review says Filmora fits regular creator projects but has limitations for advanced color finishing and team workflows.
