Madhya Bharat Unit Reopens After 18-Day Pollution Closure

A factory in Meghnagar reopened after being closed for 18 days.

It had been sealed because officials were concerned about pollution.

The Pollution Control Board said it found no polluted water being discharged from the factory.

The factory owners promised to improve cleanliness and follow environmental rules.

They also agreed to help improve a school, anganwadi, roads, water facilities, and other infrastructure in Fatehpur village.

Officials will check the factory from time to time.

The factory can make Single Super Phosphate until 2028.

Officials said action could be taken if the factory breaks environmental rules again.
