India and Singapore deepen ties in semiconductors, green economy, shipping

India and Singapore met to make their partnership stronger.

They chose semiconductors, clean industries and cleaner shipping as important areas.

They want companies to work more closely on making computer chips and training workers.

A new green lane may help move important chip-related people, equipment and materials.

The countries also discussed green hydrogen and a cleaner digital shipping route.

Their digital payment connection, UPI–PayNow Connect, is being used more often.

India will export more fruits and processed poultry products to Singapore under food-safety cooperation.

The countries are also working together on skills, medicines, business, museums and transport.

Leaders said they would continue building links between Singapore and Indian states.
