69 Maharashtra Citizens Cross Nepal Border, Expected In Mumbai

Sixty-nine people from Maharashtra were stuck near Nepal and China after floods and other disasters.

They crossed the China-Nepal border and entered Nepal safely.

They used the Kodari Immigration Centre late on Saturday.

The Maharashtra government expects them to reach Mumbai by August 31.

Officials say 404 Maharashtra citizens have been affected.

Of those, 262 people were still waiting to leave Nepal or China.

The state has already helped 142 people return.

Government teams are working with families, travel agencies, and national authorities to bring everyone home safely.
