Sarajevo Film Festival Adapts to Content Industry with New Strands
The Sarajevo Film Festival is changing things up to stay relevant in today's entertainment world.
CineLink, the industry part of the festival, is now focusing on different types of content.
They launched CineLink Books to help turn books into movies, which was successful.
Now, they're starting a new program called Talents Innovation Program to bring the film and video game industries together.
They're also changing how they give out awards for TV shows.
Instead of giving them out at the festival, they will now be part of a new award show in Montenegro, which celebrates talent in films and series.
Sarajevo Film Festival's CineLink Industry Days is adapting to the evolving content landscape.
CineLink launched CineLink Books last year, resulting in one book being acquired for adaptation and another in negotiation.
The festival will launch Talents Innovation Program to explore the overlap between cinema, animation, and video game development.
The program will also feature its usual strands like CineLink Talks, CineLink Co-Production Market and CineLink Works in Progress.
The Heart of Sarajevo Awards for TV series will fold into the new Adriatic Film and TV Awards in Montenegro in October.
