Naidu Promises Resolution of Visakhapatnam’s Panchagramalu Land Dispute

Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu said the government will work to settle a long-running land dispute in Visakhapatnam.

About 22,000 eligible people may receive pattas, which are documents showing land rights.

The government has already given conveyance deeds to 28,445 beneficiaries.

Officials said hundreds of acres were regularised through a land programme.

Poor families living on Endowment department land may also receive pattas if they qualify.

Naidu said these documents can give families greater security.

He also said more houses are being built for people who need them.

The government wants every family to have a permanent address.
