Delhi Government to Launch 'Child Beggar-Free Delhi' Campaign

Delhi Government to Launch 'Child Beggar-Free Delhi' Campaign

The leader of Delhi, Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, has a new plan called the 'Child Beggar-Free Delhi' campaign.

The plan will cover all 13 districts of Delhi.

Its goal is to help children who are forced to beg on the streets.

The government says it will not force children to leave the streets.

Instead, helpers will talk to their families and try to solve their problems.

The plan will also find and stop bad people, called gangs, who make children beg.

Children who are rescued will get to go to school or learn job skills.

The campaign might start around Independence Day after people share their ideas and suggestions.

There are about 70,000 children living on the streets in Delhi, so it is a big job.
