Srisailam Temple Revises Darshan Schedule to Ease Crowds
The Srisailam temple in India has changed the times when people can touch the deity.
Now, on Saturdays, Sundays, and Mondays, you can only do this at night, not in the morning or afternoon.
On other days, the usual three times a day still work.
During the special Shravan month, they also let people touch the deity on Friday nights.
If you want a special visit, you must send a letter two days before, either by email or WhatsApp.
These changes help keep the crowds smaller and make the visit smoother for everyone.
Srisailam temple authorities revised touch‑based darshan schedule to ease crowding.
Night‑only darshan will be allowed on Saturdays, Sundays, and Mondays; morning and afternoon slots are suspended.
On other days, the existing three daily darshan slots remain unchanged.
Special permission for Friday night darshan will be granted during the Shravan month.
Recommendation letters for protocol darshan must be submitted at least two days in advance via email or WhatsApp.
