SPML Infra Secures ₹159 Crore Bond and ₹22 Crore Award
SPML Infra, a company that builds infrastructure, got some good news.
They were told they can get a special bond worth ₹159 crore from an insurance company.
This bond helps them take part in more projects and gives them security instead of using bank guarantees.
Also, they won a legal case and got ₹21.61 crore from a water board in Chennai.
Earlier, they had won a big project in Rajasthan worth ₹207.38 crore to build and maintain water supply systems.
This project will help over 1.03 million people get clean drinking water.
On January 2, their shares were worth ₹187.00, which was a bit less than before.
SPML Infra received a surety bond limit of ₹159 crore from an IRDAI-registered insurer to enhance tender participation and provide security for contract awards.
The company secured an arbitration award of ₹21.61 crore from the Chennai Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board, subject to arbitration terms.
SPML Infra won a ₹207.38 crore project in Rajasthan under the Jal Jeevan Mission, covering construction, operational work, and 10 years of maintenance.
The project includes building three water treatment plants, reservoirs, and pipelines to provide clean drinking water to over 1.03 million people in the Kota and Bundi region.
On January 2, SPML Infra's shares closed at ₹187.00, down 1.73% on the BSE.
