Opposition Stalls Parliament Over NEET, Ram Mandir Issues
The first day of Parliament's Monsoon session saw a lot of disruption.
Opposition MPs in both the Rajya Sabha and Lok Sabha started shouting and protesting right after the usual morning tributes.
They want to talk about some big issues: problems with the NEET exam, some money that went missing at the Ram Mandir, and a big protest happening at Jantar Mantar.
The Opposition says the government isn't being fair to students and is trying to silence them.
The leader of the Opposition, Mallikarjun Kharge, said the government is using force against students protesting the NEET exam.
The Prime Minister had asked everyone to work together peacefully, but the Opposition isn't happy and wants these issues discussed.
There's even an activist, Sonam Wangchuk, who is on a hunger strike and wants the Education Minister to resign.
Because of all this, security around Parliament has been increased.
Opposition MPs disrupted Parliament's Monsoon session, demanding discussions on NEET paper leaks and Ram Mandir donation theft.
Leader of Opposition Mallikarjun Kharge accused the government of using force against protesting students.
Both Rajya Sabha and Lok Sabha were adjourned multiple times due to Opposition protests.
Activist Sonam Wangchuk called for a march to Parliament and demanded the resignation of the Education Minister.
Security has been tightened outside Parliament in anticipation of the protest march.
