India unveils banking reforms committee to support Viksit Bharat 2047

India's finance minister wants India to become a very developed and rich country by the year 2047.

To help make that happen, she is setting up a special group of experts called a committee.

This committee will study how banks work and suggest changes.

Banks are places where people save money and borrow money.

The finance minister says Indian banks are doing very well right now.

She says the number of bad loans, called NPAs, is the lowest it has ever been.

The committee might suggest letting big companies start their own banks.

It might also make it easier for people from other countries to invest in Indian banks.

The government hopes these changes will help the economy grow faster.

This is all part of a big plan called Viksit Bharat 2047.
