Seven Arrested, Including Two Sub-Inspectors, for Robbing Jewellery Artisan in Karnataka

In Karnataka, two police officers and five other men were arrested for robbing a jewellery artisan.

The officers stopped the artisan, Vishwanath, at a bus stand, showed their police IDs, and took him to a car.

They threatened him and took his gold bar and ring.

After dropping him back, Vishwanath reported the incident to the police.

The police then arrested the officers and the five accomplices who helped them.

They also found a car and a fake gun used in the crime.

This happened just days after another police officer was caught for a big ATM robbery.
