Microsoft Tests Updated Scrollable Start Menu in Windows 11
Imagine your computer's Start menu as a desk where you find your apps.
Microsoft is making this desk neater.
Instead of a 'see more apps' button, there's now a scrollable section to see everything.
Your apps will be organized in folders such as 'Games' and 'Creativity'.
If you prefer, you can arrange them in alphabetical order.
The menu will change how it looks on a large or small screen to better fit.
There is also a button to connect your phone and see its information quickly.
Windows 11 Start menu gets a fresh twist in the latest Insider Preview.
The Start menu features a new 'All' section with apps sorted into folders.
Users can switch to Grid view for an alphabetical list of apps.
The Start menu adjusts to the screen size, offering more columns on bigger monitors.
A new mobile button next to the search bar expands the Start menu to show phone info.
