Borra Caves and Lambasingi to Get Facelift for Tourism
Imagine two beautiful places, Borra Caves and Lambasingi, are getting a makeover!
The government is giving money to make them even better for visitors.
At Borra Caves, they're adding cool things like lights and a place to buy souvenirs.
In Lambasingi, they're building a special spot to see the pretty views.
Also, they're helping local people build small home stay where tourists can stay and experience local life.
They'll learn how to make the home stays nice for visitors, which will bring more jobs and money to the area.
Borra Caves and Lambasingi are being developed with funds from the Swadesh Darshan programme.
₹29 crore has been sanctioned for Borra Caves, including a light and sound system, parking, and a souvenir hall.
A viewing deck and pedestrian road will be built at Lambasingi with ₹9 crore allocated.
The district administration plans to establish 300 home stay units initially in Maredumilli, Lambasingi, and Araku Valley.
Home stay units will cost approximately ₹3 lakh each and charge ₹2,000-₹3,000 per day.
