High-Level Panel Discusses SOP for Jagannath Temple Treasury Inventory
A special group of important people is talking about how to count and check all the valuable things, like jewels, stored in a special room at the Jagannath Temple in Puri, India.
They are making new rules to keep everything safe and make sure the counting goes smoothly.
The last time they counted these things was a long time ago, in 1978.
They haven't decided when they will start counting yet, but they are working on making sure everything is ready.
They will also make sure that anyone who goes into the special room is checked carefully.
The meeting lasted over four hours and focused on security and keeping the temple's rituals uninterrupted.
High-level committee began deliberations on SOP for inventory of Jagannath Temple's Ratna Bhandar.
New SOP is being prepared based on previous SOPs from July 13 and August 12, 2024.
Committee focused on security arrangements and uninterrupted temple rituals.
Anyone entering or exiting Ratna Bhandar will undergo screening and checking.
Dates for inventory will be finalized in a meeting with the state government's approval.
