Green Leader Polanski Targets Starmer’s Vacated Parliament Seat

Zack Polanski leads Britain’s Green Party.

He plans to run for parliament in Holborn and St Pancras.

Keir Starmer previously held the seat for Labour.

Polanski says Labour supports corporations and big money, while he would support people and communities.

The Greens think they have a chance because they have gained support from Labour’s left.

In the previous election, an independent candidate focused on opposition to Israel’s war in Gaza won nearly 19% of the vote.

The Green candidate received more than 10%.

The Greens also recently won a surprise by-election in Greater Manchester.

A recent poll showed Labour and Reform UK tied at 23%, with the Conservatives on 20% and the Greens on 13%.
