Arunachal Pradesh commissions 132 kV Miao-Namsai transmission line
Arunachal Pradesh has recently completed a new power line called the 132 kV Miao-Namsai transmission line.
This line is about 41 kilometers long and connects important areas like Namsai, Diyun, and Miao.
The goal of this project is to make sure that people in Changlang district and nearby areas have more reliable electricity.
The government is working hard to improve the power system in the state, and this new line is a big step forward.
They have already finished 91 out of 239 parts of the plan, and the whole project is expected to be done by 2027.
The project is being managed by a company called Powergrid Corporation of India Limited (PGCIL) and is part of a bigger plan to make the power system stronger and more reliable.
Arunachal Pradesh has commissioned the 132 kV Miao-Namsai transmission line, a 41-km project connecting Namsai, Diyun, and Miao.
The line aims to enhance power reliability in Changlang district and adjoining areas, strengthen grid connectivity, and reduce dependence on long radial networks.
The project is part of the Comprehensive Scheme for Strengthening of Transmission and Distribution System (CSST&DS), approved by the central government.
The scheme includes the construction of transmission lines, substations, and associated distribution infrastructure to modernize the state's power network.
The project is expected to be completed by 2027 and will significantly improve power availability, operational reliability, and integration with the national grid.
